The service

Vamozy is a group trip planning web application. We help groups organize trips together: voting, money pooling via Stripe, expense splitting, booking task assignment, and post-trip settlement.

Beta status

Vamozy is in beta. Features may change. We aim to give 30 days notice before any breaking change to a paid feature you're actively using.

Money handling

Card payments into the trip pool are processed by Stripe and are received on the Vamozy Stripe account. They are not held in escrow. Paying by card adds a 1.5% fee to the amount you pay. Vamozy is not a bank.

Refunds are not automatic when a trip cancels or a member drops out, and there is no refund button in the app. To ask for a refund of a card payment, email [email protected].

For non-Stripe payment methods (Venmo, Zelle, Cash App, cash), Vamozy only tracks ledger entries. That money never flows through Vamozy. Refunds and disputes for those payments are between the trip members.

Acceptable use

Don't use Vamozy for fraud, money laundering, illegal activities, or anything that violates Stripe's acceptable use policies. We can suspend or terminate accounts that do.

Liability

Vamozy is provided "as is" without warranty. We're not liable for cancelled trips, lost bookings, missed flights, group disputes, or anything else outside the software itself.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of California, USA. Any disputes will be handled in California courts.
